Professional Achievements

 Steve has been a PGA Member since 1993 and holds PGA Certified Professional status in Golf Instruction and Golf Operations, an elite designation achieved by fewer than 2% of PGA Golf Professionals.

Steve was honored as the Colorado PGA "Teacher of the Year" for his exceptional ability to guide students to success. Golf Digest recognized his impact by naming him one of the Best Teachers in Colorado for 2017 and 2018. While serving as PGA Head Golf Professional at Winnetka Golf Club, 

Steve received the Illinois PGA Section’s Bill Strausbaugh Award for his dedication to creating employment opportunities for PGA members. His passion for junior golf also earned him the Illinois PGA Section Junior Golf Leader Award, reflecting the outstanding junior program he developed at Winnetka, one of the top programs in the Chicago area.

As a leader on the Colorado PGA Board of Directors, Steve chaired the Junior Golf Committee, driving unprecedented growth in junior golf participation. His innovative approach has become a model for PGA Sections nationwide.

An accomplished player himself, Steve believes competitive success enhances his ability to inspire students. He takes great pride in his numerous tournament victories and his selection to elite teams, including the Carolina PGA Palmetto Cup and Illinois PGA Radix Cup, showcasing his status as a leading PGA Golf Professional.
